Our personalized learning services are available virtually via Zoom or in-home for families in select Northern California communities.
Foundational Studio
Our Foundational Studio provides personalized, one-on-one phonics instruction for emerging and developing readers. Using evidence-based practices rooted in the Science of Reading, sessions build the essential skills needed for lifelong literacy, including phonemic awareness, sound-symbol relationships, decoding, encoding, and reading fluency. Thoughtfully tailored to each child, this foundational instruction helps students develop accuracy, confidence, and a joyful path toward becoming independent readers.
Foundational Studio comes with specially curated, high-interest decodable series and activities to work on at home, diagnostic and universal assessments, and intentional, consistent communication with families.
Knowledge Studio
Our Knowledge Studio is designed to deepen reading comprehension by building the background knowledge, vocabulary, and writing skills that support academic success. Through engaging, content-rich lessons, students explore history, science, literature, and the arts while learning to think critically, discuss ideas, and communicate clearly in writing. Grounded in the Science of Reading and academic classics, this personalized program helps children strengthen comprehension, expand academic vocabulary, and become thoughtful, confident readers and writers.
Knowledge Studio comes with specialty, high-interest novels and informational texts and activities to work on at home. We also provide all diagnostic and universal assessments, and intentional, consistent communication with families.
