Students with IEPs, 504 Plans, dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences often need more than a traditional tutoring approach. At Studio ELE, we begin by understanding the individual learner and then select specialized curricula, instructional approaches, and strategies that align with their specific learning needs.

For students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences, instruction incorporate approaches including as Orton-Gillingham and Wilson, providing explicit, systematic instruction in phonological awareness, decoding, spelling, and reading.

For students who need support with behavior, self-regulation, social-emotional learning, or navigating the demands of school, we may incorporate AIM (Accept, Identify, Move) to help students recognize their experiences, understand what is getting in their way, and develop strategies for moving forward.

For students with ADHD, autism, executive functioning challenges, or other learning differences, instruction is adapted to support attention, organization, communication, regulation, flexibility, task completion, and independence—always taking the student's individual strengths and needs into account.

Studio ELE works collaboratively with families and, when appropriate, schools and other professionals to connect IEP or 504 goals with meaningful, individualized instruction.
